Temecula Vally Half-Marathon 2012!!

Yup I did indeed do it 13.1 miles!
It was raining, cold, and super fun! 2013 for sure!!
One of the best moments was when I was at mile 12 and I saw my
family all there cheering me on. That gave me the extra boost I needed to
keep one foot in front of the other and finish strong. (may not have looked
strong but I had to dig in)

Shopping With A Teenager (oh what fun)

This is what really happens when you go shopping with a teenager.Especially one who goes by the name of Victor.

Ethan's Run 2011

Victoria and I were in a 10k race called Ethan's run. He was a little boy who died at 13 months old due to a heart defect. This run had all of it's proceeds go toward those little tykes who are currently battling with the same defects at Loma Linda University Hospital (the new one down the street from our old house) It was a beautiful day absolutely perfect for running. We had soo much fun and hope to do it again. Victoria got 3rd place in her age group and a medal and I got 11th place in my age group and a smile. GO TEAM!!

Grandma Is All Good

So we were able to go and see Grandma Stevens on Monday. Dad opened the door to the facility, saw grandma sitting in one of the chairs in the front room. She looked at him and gave a big smile. It was indeed a good visit. Although it was a 6 hour drive roundtrip we went because that's who we are and what we do. Not out of obligation but out of compassion. She looked more frail than before, she was using a walker and getting around slow but she got around. Deffinate improvement with her mind. She was recalling old pets names (tramp) grandkids names and she knew who we were too. She was quick witted and very pleasent. Lily was able to come with us and her and grandma really enjoyed themselves. Today was a good day! The nurses said that you can send things like chocolate, cookies, treats, cloths, socks, etc. We are going to be sending her some water color paints so she can pick up a hobby she liked when she was younger. Please keep her in your minds, hearts and prayers. There comes a time in your life when you have to let go of all the negative. Let it go, move on whith a smile on your face and a pep in your step because Heavenly father has blessed you with one more day to be better than you were yesterday.

Brandon and Val finally got married. It was indeed one happy event. Nicole says: "It was rainy but it was beautiful", Dad says:"They done did good" and I say what a day what a day! We had too much fun some at their expence but all in love and good humor. Enjoy some pics!

Nate's Desperate Plea

So the boys keep asking for skinny jeans and we keep telling them no. So they came up with their own version of the ever popular skinny jeans themselves. Enjoy!! (fashioned with masking tape and knee pads)

24 Hours of Pure Bliss...NOT

We did done it! It was a wonderful time indeed and who needs beautiful weather anyway! We are rock stars I tell you ROCK STARS! BTW the guy is not with us. He had way too much talent for our team.
